COMMUNICATION SEMINAR “FIPSI MUST GO INTO THE WATER”
Imagine that you have never seen a penguin in your life and today we are showing you one. We say to you: “Look, that is a penguin!” You see an animal that waddles clumsily around on land and gives the impression of falling at any moment. You form your first opinion about this animal. Then we say: “The penguin is a bird”. You think it can’t be, because he doesn’t have any sensible wings at all. They come to the conclusion that something is wrong with the animal, that it does not “work” as its species actually dictates.
But now something wonderful happens because the penguin jumps into the water. We will observe with you through the thick underwater glass pane how agile and skillful the penguin is all of a sudden. NOW he is in his ELEMENT and can fully develop ALL of his ABILITIES!
There are around 8 billion penguins (people) living in the world and in the seminar you will learn which penguin you are currently dealing with and WHAT WATER you have to give him so that he can fully develop his personal abilities! Just with words. It often depends on HOW you communicate something and not WHAT you have to say.
After the seminar you will be able to talk to people in such a way that they will listen to you, understand you and offer you substantive support for your goals (in communication). You will be able to help colleagues or people around you out of stress-related situations. The result is:
- Communication at eye level,
- more enjoyment of work (also with the others)
- more creativity in solving problems and challenges
- and much more.
In short: both you and those around you will be able to play out all of your abilities better
NEW CHALLENGES ALSO NEED NEW SKILLS
Technological progress has made organizations change significantly. Permanent availability and the possibility to access information immediately have created new forms of communication.
Nevertheless, the business world still consists of very real people: men and women, with their skills, their education, their experience and especially their individual personalities. It is you who define the potential of a company. Employees are the most valuable asset of any company.
New requirements
The demands of new markets mean that working groups are formed and disbanded again at a rapid pace. The time in which people can develop contact and trust with one another has become very short. Inspiring others to give meaning to work, to bundle the strengths of a team and to deal constructively with tensions have become indispensable leadership qualities in our time.
Dealing with great stress and pressure requires knowledge of one’s own strengths and needs. Self-management and better relationship management help relieve this pressure and enable you to perform at your best, both as an individual and in a team. Which company today can afford to forego these skills?
A PERSONAL MODEL TO UNDERSTAND YOURSELF AND OTHERS BETTER
The architecture of personality
A central component of every seminar is a personality questionnaire. With its evaluation you will be able to discover your own personality structure (which penguin I am and which water do I need in order to be able to use all my abilities). The didactic image of a building helps to visualize your personality structure. Each floor of this building houses one of the six personality types.
The base
The first floor, which we call the base, houses our most highly trained and dominant personality type. When we identify another person’s base, then we can use the right style of communication for that person.
The phase
The concept of the phase promotes understanding of the different motivations of people. If we regularly satisfy the psychological needs of the phase, this increases our motivation day in and day out. We can also use this as a motivational tool for other people.
The profile
This individual and tailor-made document contains valuable information on around 40 pages.
Each chapter provides keys to understanding and improving communication and self-management in everyday use. The focus is on personal strengths, but our psychological needs are also shown: Satisfying them prevents us from being overwhelmed by stress. With the help of warning signals, we can recognize when there is an imbalance in the satisfaction of needs.
The goals
- Understanding of your own personality structure in order to be able to use all of our strengths in the best possible way.
- The improvement of our self-management in difficult situations even under high stress.
- To recognize the personalities of other people, to accept them and to adjust to them so that both the individual work and the cooperation in teams functions sustainably and in the long term in the best possible way. The result is stable and successful working relationships
